Our Process: Polished Concrete Floors
The process of concrete polishing involves several stages of mechanically grinding (and eventually polishing) your floor surface with specialized diamond impregnated bits. With each stage concrete grinding, the pores of the concrete surface gradually close resulting in a harder and shinier flooring system. In addition, we add a concrete impregnating sealer which soaks into the concrete slab, hardens, and becomes part of the polished concrete floor.

Over the years we have developed a sure tooling method called Cement Shine that determines what diamonds bits are needed at every stage of polishing and how many levels of polishing are required for your specific concrete hardness.

We start each project with a hardness test on your existing concrete. From there, we are able to formulate a series of work built specifically for your surface. Cement Shine methods are proven to work and it shows in our all our polished concrete jobs.
